Millicent Rose Barrett, affectionately known as Millie, is a dedicated Reverend, Licensed Pastoral Counselor, and the inspiring voice behind Vintage Girl With A Bow. Driven by her core belief that “when you touch the life of others, yours will be touched too,” she has devoted her life to empowering individuals through faith-centered healing and holistic growth.

Reverend Barrett’s professional journey is rooted in a strong and diverse educational foundation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from Baypath University (Massachusetts) and a degree in Criminal Justice. This unique combination equips her with a deep understanding of the human person—both in body and in society—providing a holistic foundation for her ministry of community care.
Her formal ecclesiastical authority was confirmed on October 20, 2025, when she was officially appointed and ordained as a Reverend Licensed Minister by Bishop Dr. Lenford Nehemiah Newell, JP, on behalf of the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church Ltd., in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. This sacred appointment grants her full authority to preach, teach, administer the Sacraments, solemnize matrimony, and provide pastoral care.
Building on this foundation, she serves as a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, operating in alignment with the educational and ethical guidelines of the National Christian Counselors Association (Sarasota, Florida). In this capacity, and as a Faith-Based Coach, she offers compassionate, professional guidance that seamlessly integrates biblical principles with emotional support to foster genuine healing and empowerment.
